Great points analyst. Overall for schools the size of Bedford (who is an average sized school in the LHAC) the LHAC is the best overall fit for them.

Another point is that it is tough to be dominate in every sport. A good athletic program is considered if you are really strong in one sport and competetive in the others. I think Bedford, CC, PC, Tyrone, FH, Westmont, Johnstown, all fall into this category.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Football practices are starting so lets start this topic up again. What teams and players should be making noise this year? How bout some predictions for the LHAC? Any surprise teams that might come out this year?

Really? What does Richland have coming back and is it enough to be allow them to win LHAC games? Even improvement puts them behind the big dogs.

Yea, but perhaps someone that knows their personnel better can help here.
All I know is their qb is tough, experienced & dangerous. He also has @ least 2/3 skilled players returning....not sure how lines shape up!

Who are the top 3 in the LHAC and in what order?

Is it BC, BM, and FH? If those are the teams, what is your order? Can CC or Bedford or another team move into that top 3?

Vman you are correct about their QB being very experienced. Pecora is only a junior and this will be already his 3rd yr starting at qb for the Rams. And as for the Top 3 I think Carroll will slip this year after losing alot of their starters on offense. But FH and BM will probably be the lead of the pack in the LHAC again.

Last time I checked, Pecora stands at most 5'10" (with spikes on) and can only roll to his right, a big weakness considering that he can't really drop back in the pocket due to his lack of height. Also, exploiting this flaw (as I believe FH did last year with hard blitzing DEs) is quite easy.

Pecora will not exactly be passing over 6'5" linemen like you see in college. What makes him good is that he is a great wrestler. Doesn't run around all winter trying to put that ball in the basket. The techniques he uses in wrestling will be invaluable to him on the football field.
