Bellwood lost to Tyrone the first game but beat a good Penns Vally team last week by three or four touchdowns. They lost some good people but return perhaps the best runner in the area, Josh Kleinfelter. We play PV up there. Other well-coached teams we play are Claysburg, this week, NBC, Mo Valley, and of course, Bedford, the last game of the season.

well the lions lost to a big penns valley team 27-13 and from wat i herd from some of the players there were some pretty bad calls not just the reffs. The lions are now 2-2 What is goin on with the team this year i hear that some players arnt even tryin even in practice and are given coaches a hard time now im not goin to say wat happened but i do know there is some controversy on the team and the ones that are working the hardest and give 110% in practices doesnt even play, well some of them do but not all of them i have herd this from not just from my bro but several of the CR football players

the game at penns valley was one of the most poorly coached games i have ever seen. granted there were some very poor calls by the officials and some mental mistakes by some CR players but dan wilkins had his hand in that loss as well. two simple questions for wilkins after the game:

- kyle hess rushes for 53 yds in the first half of the PV game, yet doesn't touch the ball in the second half. (he rushed for 3 TD the previous week).

- why max wasnt benched after calling his own fake punt play 3 times, the third resulting in him being sacked for a huge loss and giving PV a very short field to work with.

ps- brandon should be starting at corner over carthew, or at least given a look. chris has been toasted for long TD twice now.

Hey did anybody hear about derrick sarver? He played O-line for Ridge last year. I guess he was in a car accident and broke his neck but I am not sure.

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Wrestlingfan4 -- If I start showing up at Steeler practice and work really really hard, do you think Coach Cower will play me? That is basically your entire argument for why your brother should play more. I am sure that your brother does work hard, that is probably why he finds his way onto the field at all. Coaches play the kids who give them the best chance to win.
