alrighty another day and im feelin better so let me elaborate on why bedford is better....

i believe ridge took was better than bedford in volleyball, but i could be wrong.
x-country from what ive been told was won by bedford boys and girls (i dont know for sure on that, im just going by what i was told)
boys soccer, bedford made playoffs, ridge didnt
girls soccer...i dont know squat bout what happened there, i think ridge might have gotten that one
football bedford went undefeated against AA and AAA schools, ridge lost to an A school
basketball, boys and girls bedford combined for 7 total victories against ridge, plus a district title for the boys
wrestling ridge took
track bedford won the county and district titles in boys, and the girls won the county meet
baseball and softball i have no idea about
o and ridge had the better girls tennis team i believe

so lets summarize
bedford:
boys soccer
football
boys bball
girls bball
boys track
girls track
boys xcountry
girls xcountry

ridge:
girls tennis
wrestling
girls soccer
girls volleyball

now not counting baseball and softball which i think bedford might have taken baseball and i have no clue bout the girls side of it, but without those two bedford beat ridge in 8 out of 12 sports...thats a 2-1 ratio mind you. even if ridge was better in baseball and softball that would still make the score 8-6 in favor of bedford, now please, please, PLEASE, explain to me how ridge is a better sports school?

Ok gunner, well ridge girls won in the softball area. And i have no clue about the baseball area either. But some sports are more important than others and they take more in to consideration for the county cup than just who won more against who. Everyone was just waiting till you spoke up and made yourself look like more of an idiot anyhow and all u did was just make more people mad at u and make bedford look worse by making them look like cry baby's that they lost the cup. If you were on the other side u would see how bad of a cry baby u look like sayin "Bedford should have won the county cup, Ridge doesn't deserve it" Obviousy like i stated before RIDGE MUST DESERVE THE COUNTY CUP TO HAVE GOTTEN IT FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW. And the reason no one spoke up and said anything about how much of a know it all u look like is because they dont want to be on here for days talking about it like we are right now. And im sure they have a ratio on how many kids went out for the sport for each school and how well the team did had to do with some of it.

your right, some sports are more "important" than others

the major sports in bedford county are..
football
basketball
wrestling
track
baseball
softball

now bedford would take football and both boys and girls bball as well as boys and girls track
ridge gets wrestling and softball
baseball will not be counted in this example.

now thats 5-2 on major sports...how is ridge better?

It's all about overall finishing gunner. Most sports also take into account 2nd place in the district and also give points for that. Most of those sports where Bedford beat Ridge, Ridge was second therefore still scoring points. Some of the sports where Ridge won, Bedford didnt get any points therefore didnt help the school towards the title. And some of the sports you werent sure about, Ridge in volleyball (dont know who was second), Bedford girls and Ridge boys in cross country (though they didnt have their own D5 meet since they are the only two teams so i dont know if they counted), Bedford boys baseball, and Ridge girls softball. And Ridge girls tennis.

right there is the proof why ridge got the title gunner. Listen to jumper22. He knows what he is talking about contrary to you. I knew ridge deserved it but didnt know much about how they determined who got it or what system they used. Ridge is tight with all sports bedford is good in and ridge is really good is others and bedford sucks. Off course soccer will most likely always be in favor of bedford but most all the others are close and or go one way. So quit cryin about bedford losing the county cup for the second year in a row.

ok, i will admit one thing, based on the point system, ridge did deserve to win...but based on actuall "quality" ridge did not deserve to win....bedford was better than ridge head to head in more sports but because they play in a much much tougher league (and district in some cases) they get punished for it. plain and simple, you put bedford in the "I Cant Compete" (ICC) against the challanges of glendale and williamsburg and see who wins the county title year in and year out
