Who are the skilled players coming back next year for Tyrone? Are they going to be any good? Did I hear that you mention a freshman QB to Start next year?

I think the QB will be a Sophomore next year but if you check out their website you can see that most of their skill guys were underclassman.

Denver Light will take over at QB next season, he was a Freshman and they moved him up this year to play Varsity. Gary Weaver will return at RB. Michael Lewis at TE. Park Mitchell at WR. Tyrone was fairly young at Skill Positions this year.

Thanks for the info, I do not live around here and try to follow Tyrone. So if the QB comes through, they should be set at skill players?

It looks like it. They will return both RB's, their TE (who was a real pass catching threat for Tyrone all year), their one starting WR as well as a few that rotated. They also will have a few athletes that rotated at both TE and FB so it will be interesting to see next year as well as the following year.
I also saw on here that someone said their backup QB Started at LB as a freshman?... Can anyone elaborate? I am guessing he must have been a pretty athletic specimen as well.
I caught a few Tyrone games this year but I really did not pay attention to their LB core to be honest.

Yes Denver Light was a Freshman who started LB and was the JV Qb this season. They moved him and Isaac Jackson (OL) up from Jr High this year to play Varsity. Denver is a VERY good athlete and a good kid too. He will be starting QB as a Sophmore next season but he is very big and athletic for his age already, to look at him you would think he was a Junior or Senior. His Dad John Light was one of Tyrone's Jr High coaches so this kid has been groomed from Day 1.
