I agree vpmom...you should wrestle your match as hard as you can so one mistake by a ref should not cost you the match.

Exactly right oldschool, Refs aren't always perfect but neither is everyone else. And someone has to do the reffing, and that goes along with every sport. People should soon get over that.

I see what you are saying but i wrestled in the bedford tourny and got DQ'ed ya and you are telling me the refs were fair. I droped the kid no more than 6inand he even had a hand free to protect himself. And get this 10min later he was in the hall playing around with his friends. I was even killing the kid 10-1. But I got somewhat of revenge i got the same kid in the duals and pinned him in like 20 sec. ya and tell me that ref was fair

Bedford is definately going to dominate Ridge with their Jr. High lower weights. Even when it comes to upper weights, Bedford has it pretty good.

obviously it cost us the tournement.
i wreled a bedford kid and he gave up and layed their flat on his back i got it on tape too. You can't tell me that the refs had nothing to do with it.
Plus they dequed a tourney champ for a little agresiveness and that same ref didn't do any thing about our rigde guy getting slammed. Bedford isn't going to dominate ridge you have no idea what your talking about. Sur i give coach Ripple credit for doing as good as they are. Every body is all like bedfords been working there butts off and are going to kill ridge. Think about it, ridge has gon udefeated for the las 3 1/2 years don't get on here running your mouth about how rigde is going to get dominatet by the little bisons.

Ok, for one thing. Refs can always be unfair, newsflash they are in every sport. But the ref also has a job to do and make sure someone doesn't get hurt. I was there and saw the match we are talking about and I agree it was not a slam, but it was rough, in my opinion. But I also do not think it cost the whole tournament. And what about last year for the Jr high match at Ridge you guys had Scott Musselman whose kids wrestle for Ridge and you dont think that he made some calls to you advantage? But we never said we lost because of the REF. I also never saw anyone say that we were going to kill Ridge I have heard more that it is going to be close. And in my opinion I think a Bison could run over a lion in the Jungle pretty easy.

are you saying a team mascot has to do with how well the team does? in that case should the titans be dominating the area?

To all you ridge fan its over now .Bedford has won .It was close but they cam out on top.

Congrats to Coach Ripple, and Easter. Great Job!! I think it will be a night the kids will remember for a long time!!! And the best part of it is we only have 3 freshman starters. Some good years to come!!!
