No-one likes a loser, backer53. It's easy to root for a team when they're winning!

haha yes it is indeed easy to cheer for a good team, so thank god were not bad or we would be having a hard time. Am i right, am i right. Personally i enjoy cheering for 5'11 160 lb point guards who drop dimes like he broke his chage purse, but hey to each his own. Game summary, the devils and the rams went into half time with the devils up by two. After a dismal half court shot contest at half time the central cambria fans returned to THE PIT, and the devils returned to form, totally dominating the second half. After they realized that they are infact allowed to pass the ball to the people on their squad, way to pick up on that one guys  haha but hey they are young. Number 34 for the rams had an excelent game for the rams ( leading the tam with 5 points) despite being on the receiving end of most of the heckeling, my hat goes off to that kid hes got heart

while exiting richland fans were heard saying such things as :

"WOW the kids in THE PIT are freaks"

"I think it is in my best interest to never come back here again"

"That is easily the most obnoxious student section ever"

"That red out blew the crazies red out out of the water, the crazies should probably apologize to THE PIT. And work to try and find a way to take their red out back"

Red devils basketball 3-1
THE PIT 4-0 (HEY BABY)

Yesssir man I'm gonna have to agree with PITmaster and Eldrick on this one. After two good showings at the CC boys' game, the PIT showed up good vs. Hempfield friday. And let's not even get into the Richland game. Take your definition of ridiculous (in a good way) and multiply it by 4000 and youll get the level of performance by the PIT against the rams. Needless to say, I think Mr. Tessari will be having nightmares about falling into a bottomless PIT for weeks to come.

And I'm still trying to figure out where the creativity in the youngsters these days has gone. Upper Yoder Zoo? Please, why don't you just change your nickname to the Panthers while your at it. And the Crimson Crazies? The students from Durham were smart enough to create their own name, so why don't you? There's got to be at least one clever person that goes to school at McCort. Well, maybe not, I take that back. So I generously applaud the ludicrously creative students of Westmont and McCort for picking such original names. (notice the sarcasm)

Oh yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to when the PIT makes the trip to Osbourne Street to square off vs. the crazies when the Devils meet the Crushers at the end of the year. Should be a doozy.

Alas, you too are not so original are you. Maybe research skills shoud be taught up at CC before you come on here and bark at Westy and McCort.
Not to say you aren't some great fans up there, but don't knock others for borrowing ideas when yours is also currently.."in use".

Wow I thought there would be alot more credit given to Windbers student section.......I've seen McCorts student section before and its up there pretty high but as far as WestPac....Windber is hands down for student sections, if you dont believe me, come to one of the games....(P.S. im not being cocky so dont say I am)

haha yea sorry about that. Being a Member of THE PIT i will admitt that THE LEGION OF DOOM from windber has a reputation as one of best student sections around and easily the best in the PAC i have some good memories from a few years ago when i was just a wee lad and the legion of doom made their way to central cambria. that was quality. But times change and people move on, and now THE PIT is the front runner for student section of the year. Our red out last night 65 strong all red. Yea that just happened. But much love to THE LEGION

In remark to the person who said about the PIT in New Mexico and copying the name, well Westy and Mccort's are both copying from other student sections while The PIT is New Mexico is the name of the whole arena not the student section. So I dont think that is really copying like the others.
