Regarding 'Lump" Kostan. I explained before his family situation, and why his parents moved to Portage, and kept the family residence in FH. As much as I like the kid and love the family, the fact is, he might not have cracked the FH starting unit either this year or last. He would have played a lot, and likely contributed, but start ahead of ND, JM, AU, uh-uh. He has had a pretty good year at Portage and I wish him continued success as this year, it's the best place for him.

Manfred, at the end of the day what seperates good teams from state championship teams is depth. They could use Kostan for sure, and Bailey could even play him at linebacker and let Dudukovich just play offense. In big games, kids get worn out faster.

El-Moldo wrote:This proves what I suspected all along. Don Bailey is truly a genious. Not only did he snooker the entire PIAA in order to stay out of AAA football and play AA, but he did in in consecutive enrollment periods USING THE SAME NUMBERS!!!!!!!!! An utter genious. What's even funnier is, that it took someone on bleachercoaches to expose the discrepancy, when NO ONE in District 6 or the PIAA knew about it. NOW all hornie has to do is prove collusion, that the numbers were contrived intentionally to deceive the PIAA in order to not have to play football in a higher classification.
Maybe Donbo sent a bunch of kids home sick on the days the enrollment numbers were due and only counted the kids that were in school instead of actually enrolled in school. haha.

Too bad I haven't been able to find any more numbers from the previous classification periods yet to back up the collusion theory. Armed with a few more dates and numbers, I'd be ready to hit the forest hills library, count the names in the yearbook, file a right to know request for attendance records, track the enrollment periods of when students entered or left the district, compile the statistics, and bring the whole house down!

You know, someone like Judge Wopner would shoot your theory full of holes. Let's say you're an average student who has a big history test coming up. And, lo and behold, you find a copy of the test with the answer key before the test is to be given. Now, you know every correct answer to every question. So what do you do? Do you answer every question correctly and get a perfect paper, or do you intentionally give a wrong answer here and there to make it look less suspicious?? Of course, you miss a few. Why send up a red flag to the teacher? Isn't it amazing that if Bailey or someone at FH was going to cheat, that they would give the same, exact numbers as 2 years before? Seriously, wouldn't you make your enrollment DIFFERENT in order not to send up a red flag? I mean, why draw attention to yourself if you were making up numbers by using the same ones from before. Unbelieveable. No one is that stupid. If anything, he should have raised the number up a few, which would also increase the state subsidies given out per student. And isn't it amazing that every school hornie mentioned in his comparisons WENT DOWN in attendance except FH. If FH was going to cheat, giving a lower number than 300 would INSURE staying under the AA limit. Staying at 300 really would have been risky. So hornie, similar numbers is NO indication of cheating. Nice try though.

moldie,

maybe you better stick with history, because you're obvoiusly not good with math because both P-O and LV both went up in enrollment.

That is kind of goofy looking...exactly 300 for each? You would think if they were trying to cheat the classifications they would at least went 299 and 301 or something... maybe Donbo was using reverse psychology?

Thats just the class of Donbo keeping things competitive staying in AA. I salute him for cheating the classification system.

Your only argument about my last post was that I missed 2 schools (which really aren't from our local area) which went UP in attendance. Not defending yourself about what I said? Like I said, nice try.
