No dog in this fight, but the manager from St. Michael was a tad bullish on himself and his team. He patronized his opponent and called one of his players the best in the league in the playoff preview. How'd that work out for him?

There's always 1 Uninformed guy that Has To throw the first stone...
Couldn't resist taking a couple sucker punches at St. Michael and their Manager?
I thought about a lengthy reply to your comments, but you're not worth it. Ignorance is bliss, enjoy.
Bottom line: Lilly was the better team last night, and in the series, for numerous reasons that you're apparently oblivious to. Good luck to Lilly. I hope they beat Claysburg and represent Cambria County in the Regionals.

Well another legion season has ended and want to give a few props... First in the Cambria league, with Jamie eckenrode at the helm of the bishop Carroll program and those coaches involved with the ebensburg legion team... even though they have a ways to go... they made some strides this year. St. Michael had a decent season and a huge win during the season ending claysburg winning streak within the league dating back to the middle of the 2014 season. Lilly which had this group of players together for a few years had an outstanding season and gave a great showing making the league championship series. Somerset also had a good season and when their travel ball pitchers were available, they could hang with anyone. Claysburg had season a little below their standards, and their pitching was very suspect at times but they were able to make a nice run in the regionals knocking off regional champion beech creek on Tuesday but flat running out of arms to try and complete the task 2 days in a row. Bedford had a great season finishing with the best record in the league but their short porch in left but them on Sunday vs. Beech creek and Tuesday losing a tight one run game to kiski while playing a little short handed with a few guys out of the line up for various reasons...

Agreed. Good competitive season. Good to see Ebensburg back. Hopefully, Portage and Stoystown will be back next year too.
