The only thing being picked appart in the Steelers secondary would be Daunte's pass's. What a great performance he had against NY. You can't accept the fact that the Steelers are good, just as good as whinneysota. The Steelers beat the Pats, did the Viks beat the Iggles when they had thier chance, obviously not. When will you even begin to accept the fact that you were wrong about them and Ben? Chad Scott, Casey Hampton, Mike Logan, they all mean nothing to you. How about Tommy Maddox? Hahahaha get real Ham. The Steelers wouldn't stand a chance against the Vikes. Moss didn't play much this week. He's the playmaker on the team, so it doesn't surpise me they lost. Get over it that the Vikings have a better team no matter what you say. We will see when it comes playoff time.

Yes, considering the Vikings and Steelers wouldnt match-up till the Superbowl, are you trying to say something? Here we go again, one guy goes down and you expect a team to lose. Ok, I dislike the Steelers as much or more then anyone else on this board.. but I am able to admit they are playing well to date. The reason I hate the Steelers is for this exact reason... they win a few games and all of the sudden everyone is acting like they are hands down the best team in the NFL, no one will ever beat them, Ben is the best QB in the NFL and so on and so forth. What if next week Ben goes 10-27 with 4 INT's and the Steelers get blown out 42-10? What if he gets hurt and has to go down for 4-6 weeks... do they even have a 3rd stringer? All you fans of the black and gold better ride this wave while it lasts...

you have to look at the season on the whole here. the vikings lost at philly and w/o their best player to the giants, a decent team who, yes, previously lost to detroit, a team which is actually solid when their ROY plays. the loss in philly would have been a great win, but the linc is a tuff place for anybody but the eagles to win. the steelers lost in baltimore, a very similar scenario b/c the baltimore is solid team and a rival. that loss was also before brb took over.

the vikings then dominated everybody they played and lost one game w/o their best player. to bring up a lack of depth here is unfounded because the vikings do have depth at wide out and replacing randy moss is impossible. the steelers had beat some mediocre teams until this past weekend when they beat the pats, the consensus #1 team in the league.

2 things i have to say about the steelers win.

1. homefield advantage was huge, as it usually is. the steelers thrived off that energy and just outplayed the pats.

2. a lack of depth was not what beat the patriots. the game may have been closer, but the outcome would have been the same. the steelers energy beat the patriots.

after all this, i might have to give the slight edge to the steelers. the nfl is a "what have you done for me lately league" and lately, the steelers have beaten a previously unbeaten team and the vikings have lost to an average team in the giants.

i am really looking for the steelers to knock off the eagles this week as well. the eagles are gonna blitz ben like crazy, but the steelers running game will be the difference. home field once again will be huge too.

Sean Salisbury seems to think the AFC is leaps and bounds above the NFC this year as a whole. Who else did he pick as the 'most physical and dominant team in the AFC'? Your guessing correct if your guessing the Steelers. So oneandonly and deliverance, I guess some people outside of the burgh and PA believe that Ben is for real, as also the Steelers. Won a few games in, 5 in a row, 2nd longest in the NFL, soon to be the longest after knocking off the iggles on sunday. 10-27 with 4 picks, he hasn't played that bad all year, why would he start now against a lesser D than last week?
