Hey, I have a kid who told me in confidentially that he and members of his family were absolutely contacted about transferring for athletics. I guess everyone just hates McCort cause they win so much, right?

Well, after the results of Fri. night, I've come to several conclusions. It was a game that could have gone to either team, but FH won. Maybe BM didn't recr... well enough? And where WERE the BM Seniors when needed? Was KS playing political favorites come crunch time? That's all I'm saying about this (for the time being).

Just a question...since PIAA will not do anything about these injustices, could the public schools just not play (Cancel, forfeit, etc) these schools and make a statement in doing so???

...could it be that Bailey "recruited" one of his scruffs that wouldnt see much playing time and showed him the light and glory of the catholic faith just so that FH would remain below the cutoff?

I learned a week ago that many of the Westmoreland County schools have written the PIAA about recruiting by the Catholic schools in the county. Apparantly this is happening in basketball at a very young age. Kids are being contacted while playing AAU basketball and other youth leagues. I guess that District 6 is not the only ones complaining about the Privates.
