TAE, I hope that was a tongue-in-cheek statement.
Eight teams from the Big East in the NCAA Tournament. That's 50% of the league.

Robert Montgomery Knight took Pitt to go all the way. Very surprising, but I will say they are the hottest team going into the tournament by beating 3 ranked teams in a row to win the Big East. I just have a feeling some other team may come out of the South. The team will not have to leave Texas if they win their first two. That would be the Longhorns of Texas. However, Stanford has some bigs underneath that can cause problems. Those Lopez brothers are pretty tough.

Watched the pre-game show to the BEC game....Knight & all 3 other hosts picked G'town....Knight in particular raved 'bout G'town being a # 1 seed.

I agree that Memphis deserves consideration. They could win that side of the bracket, too. I just did not feel the need to mention them because everyone already knows about them. They have a major free throw shooting problem, which hurts big time in the NCAA Tournament.
