Terrelle Pryor is Dead to Me.

Heard a rumor from a very reliable source that after the recent basketball game with Jeannette, Mr. Pryor got on the microphone and said, "I am going to--" and then walked off. Are you kidding me? Why even do that? Are the accounts true that Mr. Pryor is a complete headcase who let all this garbage go to his brain? That doesn't seem like consistent behavior with a kid who is supposed to be such a great kid.

Mike Farrell said yesterday that Pryor was down to Michigan and Ohio State and never had any intentions of going to Penn State. Farrell said the same thing all of us were thinking: he did not announce before end of bball season because he did not want the PSU fans to heckle him if Jeannette made the state title game at the BJC. Okay, I can maybe see that. At first, that makes sense, here's a great kid who did not want his teammates to get boo'd out of the building once it was revealed that he never had any intention to go to Penn State.

I know all the excuses. But you know what? Everyone else committed over a month ago, dude. You are not the only kid who was heavily recruited. Many, many other kids were getting pulled in many more directions than just 2. I know he had offers from everywhere, but I'm saying 2 because of OSU and Michigan being the only real "contenders".

If you don't want to go to Oregon, don't say they are in contention. There was a report Sunday that Pryor was headed to FLORIDA STATE. If PSU is out because you told people in "secrecy" that you hate the area, don't act like they're still in consideration.

Let's take a look at his supposed final 4 schools, and we'll assume that the goal for Mr. Pryor is the NFL and not Restaurant and Hotel Management.

Oregon: Last QB to do anything in the NFL was Joey Harrington, who ended up being incompetent and was one of the biggest busts in recent NFL history. Can't name another UO QB to even play in the NFL.
Penn State: Last QB to do anything in the NFL was Kerry Collins, who finished his career in 1994. Had a decent career at best.
Michigan: What Rich Rod QB ever amounted to a hill of beans?
Ohio State: Even with a dropback system, name me a QB from Ohio State who did anything in the NFL. Troy Smith is lucky they let him travel with the team.

What's the big to-do over Ohio State? If you wanna go there, great, go there if you want to, but what's the attraction? To be perfectlu honest with you, I don't see the point in his even going to a Big Ten school, period.

Kerry Collins actually made the Super Bowl with the Giants, but he was not the reason they got there. Pryor is going to have a tough time making it in the NFL. Especially with the way VY played last year because that is who he is compared to the most.

People make idiotic comparisons, and we'll never see a day when it doesn't happen. Black QB's will always get measured against Vick and Young. What was the knock on Leftwich? "He doesn't run enough." Pryor can throw well and can run, why isn't he compared to Steve Young? Why does Daryl Clark immediately get compared to Michael Robinson? It's disgusting how PSU fans are so excited to see Clark, and we all know it's because they think he's Michael Robinson. I assure you he is a much different player, and a lot of people are going to be very disappointed.

Terrelle Pryor will never be Vince Young, because Vince Young comes around once in a lifetime. He's a garbage quarterback who has an insane ability to win games. It is unbelievable. And on top of that, I have no idea why Pryor would think Ohio State is the place to go play quarterback.
