A few of my thoughts from Saturday

First from Happy Valley:
-Clark looks like he is going to be great. I like the way he looks to throw first but also can make things happen if the pocket collapses. He put the ball in a place where either his receiver could catch it or it would fall incomplete. Devlin looked good but seemed not to look off his primary receiver. It may be because the primary receiver was open every time but that is only concern I could see there.
-Was Brett Brackett playing TE? I know he is 6'6'' and listed as a WR. This kid could be the breakout player this year. He always seems to be open and obviously is a big target.
-Jerome Hayes seems a lot bigger than last year. He impressed me Saturday and is great for the depth chart with the ability to play either DE or OLB.
-Great job trying to get Derrick Williams as many touches as possible. Kick returns, Punt returns, running plays, screens, passing plays. His looks quicker than ever and isn't that scary.
-Sargent still can't cover anybody. I have absolutely no faith in him right now.
-Maybe TEA has an answer for this but why did they play Brandon Beachum at RB late in the fourth quarter. He is at least 4th on the depth chart and losses his redshirt.
Now from Heinz Field: (only seen the last 8 minutes after leaving Beaver Stadium late in the 3rd quarter
-Stull does not impress me at QB at all. The only good pass I seen in the last 8 minutes was dropped.
-Pitt had no fundamentals. Not just turnovers but dropped passes, poor routes, missed blocking assignments.
-Lets not act like BGSU played a perfect game to pull one out of their a$$, they had their fair share of mistakes.
Next the Big House:
-Worst QB situation in the Big Ten. None of these kids can lead this team to big wins.
-Pushed around up front by UTAH. What are they going to do against Big Ten fronts?
-Rich Rod does not impress me at all. Trys to run the spread several times when none of them worked and he dont have the players for it to be successful.
The Georgia Dome:
-Took Clemson one week to make my prediction true. Overated top 10 team.
-'Bama looked like a well coached team and were ready to play.
-Tommy Bowden is not a good coach at all. I thought he gave up on the running game a bit to quickly.
Finally, Missouri and Illinois:
-I take back my prediction of Chase Daniels stock falling this year. He is the best player from Saturday and just made big play after big play
-To little defense from both teams for them to have hopes of winnings their conferences.
-Juice Williams still doesnt impress me. Unlike a QB like Clark it seems to me that he is too quick to escape the pocket.
These are the games that I spent the most attention to on Saturday.
