Just wondering what Guilfoyle and Carroll's remaining schedules look like? Could one of these teams not make the Single A playoffs? Would they enter at 4-5 if they had enough points?

Bishop Carroll: 3-2
10/04/08 7:00 PM Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA)
10/11/08 7:00 PM Somerset (Somerset, PA)
10/17/08 7:00 PM Forest Hills (Sidman, PA)
10/24/08 7:00 PM Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)
10/31/08 7:00 PM Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA)

Bishop Guilfoyle: 3-2
10/03/08 7:00 PM Bedford (Bedford, PA)
10/10/08 7:00 PM Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)
10/17/08 7:00 PM Somerset (Somerset, PA)
10/24/08 7:00 PM Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA)
10/31/08 7:00 PM Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA)

Both teams are 3-2 in the LHAC. That would be interesting to see which team makes the playoffs by the final game.

BC will pick up wins against CH and Somerset
Johnstown is winable
BG is a complete toss up.

BG will best Somerset and Bedford
They can beat Johnstown and Central Cambria
BC toss up as well

So i think at the very leat each will get to 5 wins. and each can possibly pick up some more.

personally...I think BG is the better team. They have a great homefield advantage playing at Mansion and the way that offense operates its a good matchup for them all the time.

Chris Brown has the ability to take over games. BG has the talent to win out although i do think they will slip up along the way.

Both teams will be making the playoffs with above .500 records though

If you notice, they are #9 and #10 right now- Mount Union won't lose more than another game(injuries not counted in here), so they are gonna have to make some hay for both to get in. My bet is that last game is gonna be "win or go home" for the last spot and be McCorts' 1st round whipping boys.

Single A takes up to 16 teams and pretty much as long as you have a winning record your in. And the last game in week 10 is only played if neither makes the playoffs from what I understand, or at least that is how it has been done in the past. Playoffs start in week 10 for A, so im pretty sure they will both make the playoffs easily... I'm positive this is how it was done last year so unless they changed it it should be the same.

Good point LHAC Big Fan I noticed this last year that they started in week 10 in A. How does this effect the games teams scheduled and other stuff on the line.

BG is going to end up with a pretty good seed and has a good shot to go deep in the playoffs both bc and bg look solid this year. chris brown qb and andy passonetti wr lead a viscious passing attack while huey ehredt pounds at yards at rb. come playoff time they will be a team to watch. i graduated from bg and the final game isnt played if either team makes the playoffs. so its not going to be played.

Wow I def. never realized that. So all these teams lose their 10th regular season game.

that is correct but all the single A teams only play 9 games so it is not a disadvantage its just there as a consilation game if both team have losing seasons
