Breaking news .....We are all familiar w/ Joe's road rage incident last year....well he's in a little deeper doo doo this time as he was picked up in a campus dorm room late Friday/early Saturday! In a Bleachercoaches exclusive the following incriminating photo was forwarded to this forum:
Image

As he was led from the room he could be heard mumbling something about "I don't know what the problem is nobody's getting hurt here, just getn nice w/ a few of the fellas, did the pizza guy get here yet & I'll tell ya this Purdue's got a heckuva ball club"

A BC reporter did reach Guido D'eLia, UPS Director of Football Operations, Communications and Bovine Branding, for comment on the 'alleged' incident. Guids released the following statement "We don't have all the facts yet but we certainly cannot condone our relic errrr coach hangin' w/ the doobie bros.; consequently, he may have to coach from the coaches box for the 1st Qtr.or be required to pick some stuff up on the sidelines after the game and if convicted, he will probably be suspended for Monday's practice"

Stay tuned for further updates on the UPS Crime Blog!

On a serious note, are coaches allowed to ADVERTISE during the game? How many times did we have to see JoePa sitting in the booth wearing that hat displaying that big AT & T logo. Isn't that against NCAA regulations? I mean it's not freaking Nascar!!! Talk about a walking commercial (OOPS, he wasn't exactly walking now was he). That was pathetic. I remember when Tulane used to play in the Superdome and all the commercial signs indoors had to be covered up. Maybe next week we can see "Milano Bread" pasted on his forehead. And if advertising by coaches is not allowed by the NCAA, then he should not be given credit for the win as he tries to stay ahead of Bobby Bowden.

It's JoePa. They allow him to do whatever he likes.

That's funny. I DVR'd the game, and watched it from beginning to end, and never once saw an AT&T hat on JoePa. His headset had AT&T on the side of it, but he was never once wearing a hat.
