Let's Get This Settled

First off, I like this board because it brings many things. Sometimes it brings intelligent conversations and other times it brings up things that are completely stupid. It's a message board and that's just how they are. I am a Texas fan, so I bring a different perspective to this board and that's not liked. Why not? I am not arrogant about it. I don't say how great Texas is and that PSU sucks. I have said PSU is a great team. I stated that Texas Tech should be ahead of them because I knew they were good all year long. They got as little respect as any undefeated team from a major conference in awhile. Deservedly so. They scheduled two I-AA teams. Then, they came out and gave Texas a beat down. They deserved to jump PSU. This isn't Big 12 bias. This is because I knew Texas Tech is a great team and this made other people believe that, too. How many Tech games have you guys seen this year? Did you know who Michael Crabtree was before last week? Probably only a few of you have. This is why I don't understand why people say that I am a homosexual because I am a Texas fan. I don't understand why people call out players from Texas, whom they couldn't hold their jockstraps, but because I like Texas, they feel the need to downgrade people. Could you imagine being Blake Gideon and Curtis Brown this week? I couldn't. Finally, since when do you have to attend games to be a fan? I never saw this rule stated anywhere. That's because it is not a rule. Why would you question someone's fanhood over something stupid like that? Come on, guys. I understand that you're mad about where PSU is ranked in the BCS. I understand that. Don't get your panties all in a bunch. If you go undefeated, it will work out in the end.

I am in no way a fan of psu but have been to many of their fball and basketball games because I to watch college sports.
Last I checked it wasn't real hard getting tix to either sport. And they were no where near as expensive as some other college venues. So going to an athletic event does not constitute being a real fan or not. I love Maryland Terps. Never been to a fball or bball game but there is no bigger fan than me. Not sure where ham gets this rationale from.

They remind me a lot of each other. Crabtree will play on Sundays like Fitzgerald. I'd give the nod to Fitz because he played on a team that didn't throw almost every play.

How about an eating contest as part of the festivities to see which coach can eat the most turtle soup and jayhawk wings.
