Clemson hired a guy named Dabbo Swinney. 7-5, for life.

Washington is set to hire Steve Sarkisian, a guy who is on the USC staff who has never been a head coach. They passed over Chris Peterson at Boise, Pat Hill at Fresno, and Kyle Whittingham at utah.

Peterson:

Has taken Boise to a BCS win over OU, won about 3 straight WAC titles, his record is something like 58-2. Set to play in another BCS game.

Hill:

He's not as successful as people think, but he's a fiery guy who might do well in a BCS conference.

Whittingham:

Utah has done better in each under his watch, they went undefeated and will play in a BCS game.



The hardest job for any coach is to follow a great coach and sustain the program. Whittingham and Peterson have doen REMARKABLE jobs. Nice job chasing USC's assistants over guys who already are BCS material. They already hired Willingham when he was w/o question never suited for the BCS. This is why Washington sucks and will continue to do just that.

I like Petersen as a coach, in fact, I like him so much that I'd love to see him get some serious consideration for the PSU job when JoePa finally dies.

What do ya mean, can't die......that mug expired somewhere in the late 90's or early part of this century!!

Someone needs to tell Clemson that the more losses you have doesn't give you a better draft pick. It's not the NFL.
