What if...

What if USC pounds UCLA like it did yesterday...
What if Florida beats Alabama like it did yesterday...
What if Missouri upset Oklahoma yesterday...
Who would have played in the National Title game?
How can you put Texas in the National Title game, after they not only didn't win their conference, they couldn't even win their own section? The BCS and everybody else says they don't want to take away the meaning of the regular season in College Football. But by putting Texas in after what they did to them one week ago effectively would have taken away the importance of the regular season TWICE in a matter of two weeks. Follow me here.
They had already said that Texas didn't deserve to be in the Big 12 title game even after beating the team head to head on a neutral field. Then they would have turned right around saying that the very team that wasn't good enough to win its own SECTION of it's own CONFERENCE is all the sudden now good enough to play for a national title? That was the very same knock on Georgia that kept them out of the Title game last year. And they would have snubbed USC, a team that won it's conference title on the field, throughout a regular season, and was good enough to win the Title outright? If you were to send Texas to the National Title game, Alabama would have been screwed out of that right too. At least they won their section in their conference.
It's a shame that Missouri didn't win last night.
It's a shame that Texas got the shaft job like they did last Sunday.
It's a shame there isn't a playoff in major college football.
