Speaking of points scored, with Minnesota's loss to Kansas today in their bowl game, the Big Ten has given up 107 points so far this season in 3 bowl games. What's that, about 36 points per game. Of course, the Big Ten is 0-3.

I honestly have not seen the lines other than Penn State. Was the Big Ten ever favored in any of those games? Personally, I didn't think they'd win any of those games, so I'm not very surprised.

Florida State, Missouri, and Kansas were all favored. The Big 12 teams were favored by large margins.

So again, does a 7-5 record in the Big 12 (Kansas 7-5) carry MORE weight than a 7-5 team from the Big Ten (Minnesota 7-5) since Kansas was favored by a large margin?

Moldo, it definitely does. Iowa was the only Big 10 team to be favored. They have been the only team to win, too. I guess a lot of people noticed how bad the Big 10 was this year.
