If Florida beats Oklahoma on Thursday, AP voters should seriously think about voting Utah ahead of the Gators. Utah totally dominated Alabama in front of a mostly partisan SEC crowd. This is the same Alabama team that Florida needed a 4th quarter comeback to beat. I know Pete Carroll was stumping for USC, but the Trojans lost to Oregon State - end of story. Utah beat Oregon State. Utah beat TCU, who may finish in the Top 10. Utah also destroyed the runner-up from the supposedly great SEC. I know people will say that Florida would kill Utah, but didn't we think that about Alabama. Didn't Florida lose at home to Mississippi? I think this year really is the proof that the BCS denies any chance for a team from a non-BCS league to win the national championship.

Rumor has it that since the Cotton Bowl moved from Fair Park to the new Cowboys stadium, there will potentially be another BCS game. This is what the Cotton Bowl committee is really hoping, and I think they will get it. That will open it up for 2 more teams.
But I agree, I think Utah deserves consideration.

Neither would any of the other BCS teams that play cupcakes for their OOC teams. This does include Penn State also It is a total disgrace that Division 1 Football is the only sport without a playoff system to crown their National Champion.
