Varsity and Jr High both won big, can't remember the scores.

125 was the best match of the night, Brallier took it to Helsley pretty good to the tune of 10-4. Brallier is a scrapper, he just never slows down from start to finish. It was tight til the 3rd period til Brallier took over with a few back points.

Other than that nothing really unusual. Willie and Andy Sollenberger, Troutman, Grace, D*ck, Thomas, and Suter all had falls.

It is nice to see how well Grace has come on this year. It looks like he'll be a 20+ win guy for the Panthers.

The young guns also continue to impress... How did Hix do?

Hixson lost something like 3-1. He wrestled a pretty tough match. The crowd really got behind him. If he can find an offensive shot, he'll have more success.

I will give more of a breakdown of the match now. It was the first one I had seen in a few years and I miss the sport tremendously.

It started off with a technical fall from Chesney. He dominated on his feet and got back points a few times to cruise to a 20-4 win. This got the Panthers rolling early. Willie Sollenberger got a major decision. He looks really good as a sophomore. I see big things for him in the future. He has a great work ethic and it shows on the mat. Andy Sollenberger got a fall. He is a strong kid that gets the job done. I expect big things out of him at the end of the year. Troutman and Grace recorded falls, too. Grace is putting together a fine season for the Panthers. Dick's match was the most exciting because he almost pinned his kid, then he almost got pinned, and then he rolled the kid back over and stuck him. Dick is another very strong wrestlers for the Panthers. Thomas and Suter recorded falls. Suter is very tall and reminds me a lot of his brother out there wrestling. The sky is the limit for him. I mentioned Hixson in the previous post. He needs some more time in the weight room this summer, but he's got the build to put on a lot of muscle. Brallier had a nice match. He has improved a lot since I had seen him wrestle last. I remember coaching him and he has come a long way. Overall, NBC has a really nice team. The future looks really bright as a lot of these kids are still young. I will be surprised if they don't come in second at the district tournament.
