being about half way through the season who does everyone think that the best team in district 6 class A is?

BC by far

ya that is who i would go with as well i mean u have to they are 13-1 playing mainly AA and AAA so u have to give it to them

I have to admit that I don't know very much on BC. With all the chatter about the "other" Bishop team doin some recruiting was wondering how much goes on at BC for that b-ball program.

I'm fairly sure that all their key players have come from Catholic grade schools except Greene (BV then to CC then to BC sophomore year). I know Moshcat (sp?) and Panick are from Holy Name in Ebg. And I think Repko went to the catholic school in cresson. Not sure about Paronish but I think he too went to a catholic grade school.

If ONE kid out of 5 comes from another school and is a starter, then 20% of your starters come from other schools. Therefore, for example, with Dill coming from Ferndale, 20% of BM's starters came from a different school LAST year. It's quite simple.

El-Moldo makes a good point, so you are saying Ferndale lost 20% of their starting line up to "Catholic Schools". It is ashame for Ferndale because with Bill Dill they probably have a winning season. They are currently 3-10.

A better word might be private schools, you would think Catholics would go to Catholic schools. I find that you can be a Protestant, juvenile delinquent but if you can average double figures in hoops or rush for 1000 yardsthey will still take you.

greene doesnt start, link does. he went to the Ebensburg catholic grade school as well. Out of the top 8 players on the team Greene is the only one who didnt attend former catholic grade school. Figure that percentage, sir. :mrgreen:
