I know Shade won 55-51 over Shanksville in an awesome game
Conemaugh Township shocked the WestPAC north leaders and reminded everyone why they are never to be taken lightly by beating Blacklick Valley AWAY by about 20 points. (Blacklick was #1 in the North going into friday's game)

You're right ctindian....the shankvll vs shade game was awesome. The stands were packed and the fans were not disappointed by a great matchup between these 2 rivals...shanksville was prepared to upset shade and shade was prepared to keep their winning streak going-both teams dug in and played an exciting game. The teams were well coached on both sides.....congrats to Shade and to Shanksville, players and coaches
I'm happy for your indians ,ct....i don't think i would've picked them to come out on top over bv, to be honest.
Unless there are huge upsets, I guess it'll be a battle between CV and BV for the WPNorth. Not sure if NS can be the spoiler if all the moons and stars line up correctly....didn't take the time to figure that one out. I'll just keep my eye on maxpreps to do that calc. for me

I was at the BV-Township game. Blacklick jumped out to a 7-0 lead and then a 15-11 first quarter lead and then the bottom fell out in the second quarter, CT outscored them 20-4. BV had a hard time with Duray who played a very solid game inside. I watched Blacklick on two other occasions and they shot the ball pretty well, vs Township they shot poorly.
My opinion of the WestPAC North is there are no upsets. The top four CV, BV, NS and CT can beat each other on any given night. When you look at Ferndale and Portage they have both been in some tough battles. Portage has lost three overtime games. Ferndale battled CV last night. Windber has struggled but you never know.
