A question for all of you that follow wrestling more closely...Why would Dumire get the #1 seed over Perich? Dumire 7 losses, Perich 0. Have they wrestled this season? Thanks for the insight.

PA, I believe District 6 seeds their wrestlers soley on seeding points. Dumire has wrestled/beaten more quality kids than Perich. Perich is hands down better no doubt, but that's how D6 seeds their wrestlers. Same goes for 125 where Meyers is seeded ahead of Garbinsky, and Garbinsky is undefeated and beat him in the Thomas finals.

The thing that shocked me is Knott down to 140. I thought he had above average size and strength for a 145 pounder. He is going to be a HUGE 140 pounder.

The match I'm looking forward to is Bennett vs. Sandoval in the regional finals. Both have won state titles. We all know Bennett is no joke, but if he dominates Sandoval he would have to be the best pound for pound wrestler in the state IMO.
