He was a great player at PSU and I thought he would be a pretty high draft pick. He was barely under a 4.7 in the 40 and couldn't catch a cold today at the Combine. Williams came into College being clocked at running a 4.3. Was it just a bad day or is he going to have to make an NFL team via Free Agency?

He has the flu. I'm not sure why he decided to run, he should have just done the interviews and the other tests.

But before we dogpile on Penn State, Butler ran a 4.26 40.

I was shocked that he ran that slow. It makes sense now. I think he will still get drafted in the 6th or 7th round. A 4.26 40 out of Butler is incredible.

Players are judged on 40 times way too much.

Williams's 40 time was key because his size doesn't do him any favors. Since he had the flu, he will be given somewhat of a pass. I think he'll get drafted, but not quite as high as TAE. When it comes to players like him, it's very difficult to project where they'll end up.

Wasnt it Derrick Williams who had a spot on Sportscenter about improving his 40 time also? If so I must say that was quite a bust of a story.
