Cambria Heights won 6-AA last night...Some prize they get for being the 6AA champs!
They get to play 7-7 in PIAAs...who is Beaver Falls...The pre-season #1 ranked team in PA class AA, and the #1 seed in the WPIAL tourney. They were upset by Monessen in the quarters last week.
Good season Heights...but you're going down by 20 next Saturday. AT LEAST 20.
Try playing 5 on 10 this week in practice to simulate their athleticism and quickness. It will give you and idea of what you'll be facing next week...
Good morning, good afternoon, and GOOD NIGHT HEIGHTS.

We all know about the mighty WPIAL teams titan.. can you give us a break for a day?
Congrats to Heights. I'm sure none of them think they are gonna win the state championship anyway, they just wanted that district title. Anything else is just icing!

hey whimp toenail-- it just so happens central cambria was ranked 8th in the pre season polls so whoever the 3rd seed in district 7 is ill take central cambria minus 28--thats how much sense you make when your team loses in the quarters--by the way if you lose in the quarters you should be getting ready for baseball-- ill take cambria heights plus 20-- how much you want to lose mr. know nothing-- and dont let the zeros scare you-- are you still making posts and then deleting them when you stick your toenail in your mouth-- to save a lot of wear and tear ill call the piaa and tell them to stop the state playoffs after the district championships and just name the whimp champion the state champion-- tell me two things- how many points did you average in your illustrious career and how many bookies did you bust last year--- the toenail knows not what he talks about----- the fan---

I saw a football post like this the other year regarding Pine Richland. Then Tyrone or FH (whoever it was), took down the mighty WPIAL champ.

that's what everyone said about aliquippa in 1986 and heights gave them the game of their lives, losing by one at iup.
of course, that ch team was 6'5", 6'4", 6'3", 6'3" and 6'. i'm not saying heights will win, but i guarantee they ain't losing by 20.

if beaver falls is so great then why are they the 7th seed in D7? that just shows that any team can be beat on any given day.

Beaver Falls was preseason #1 for a reason. They have a lot of talent.
They've also lost five games and finished 7th in the WPIAL for a reason. They do some dumb things.
Check out their season results and the pattern's pretty clear: Keep them under 60 and you've got a great chance. Of course, that's easier said than done.
Recipe for a Heights victory:
BF is rusty from a two-week layoff and a l-o-n-g bus ride
Link and Sharbaugh combine for 10 treys.
Vescovi hits his averages
Heights uses all the fouls on their bench and BF shoots below 50 percent from the line ... again
If they played 10 times, Beaver Falls might win 8 or 9. But they don't play 10 times. They play once.
