Larry Coker, the last Big East coach to do anything worth a dang, has been hired to coach the Texas-San Antonio program. They start play in 2011. San Antonio is the biggest city in the US that does not have a pro team or a major college team. They will start in the I-AA ranks.
Coker joins Bill Curry in a return to football. Curry just took over at Georgia State when they initiated their program for 2010.
