ALL TIME TEAMS

I'm probably gonna start a war with this one, but I'm going to ask it anyways: Who would win in a match between the all-time best wrestlers from Bedford and the all-time best wrestlers from Chestnut Ridge? I am curious to see some of the replies. Who would be at each weight for both teams? For example, the all-time best 103 or 98 lber from either school and so on... I know it is a ridiculous question, but I thought I would ask it and enjoy the feedback. As was explained to me before, Bedford and Chestnut Ridge do not exactly love each other when it comes to wrestling.

Oh wow, that provides some awesome wrestlers to make a line up. Just from the last decade or so you have a ton of great wrestlers from each team: Barry Rhodes, Josh Weyandt, Jack Burkett, Cory Ickes...Josh Baker, Eric Gibbons, Brandon Weyandt, Dusty Zeigler, Jeff Mussleman. Those are just some names that quickly came to my mind from recent times. Over the years, the two schools have produced some great wrestler.

LOL, and you are only in the 90's. In the 60's, 70's and 80's Bedford was heads and shoulders above CR. It would not even have been interesting.

I will throw in Ron Hamilton for good measure, it would be very difficult to come up with a 60 years of Bedford Wrestling All-Star Team, but it would be fun to try weight by weight. Bill Creps is the only one who could pull it off.

Easter, Brambley, Weaverling, Crissey, the Ibarra boys, Baker, are some of the names I remember in recent memory from Bedford. Ridge had some outstanding wrestlers also. It's cool to sometimes wonder "what if"... ya know----just for kicks.
