I'm sorry, did Pitt pull a Pitt?

Well, Penn State won. So much for all those "inabilities" PSU has and all the "big city life" Pitt has going for them.
What has it gotten them? The same thing it gets them every year.

Yep TAE is correct again.....season is over for Pitt. Not like they will be playing next week or anything.
Congrats to WVU and their "D".

How many early exits from tournaments does it take until you figure out a way to keep your team focused? 1? 3? 27?

I know you're trying to rag on Pitt a little, but Pitt has nothing to be ashamed about as far as the Big East Tournament is concerned. Since 2001, Pitt has played in the Big East Championship game 7 times out of 8 years, and won the Championship TWICE. That's more than any other team in the conference. And I'm sure most will agree that the Big East is one of the toughest, if not THE toughest, conference in NCAA men's basketball. Everyone knows the danger of a "one loss you're out" tournament. Look at some of the games tonight. Oklahoma lost to OK St, Baylor beat Kansas. That's the way it goes. But Pitt's history in the Big East Tournament speaks for itself. Let's see what happens in the Big dance.

The reason for the 'signature' nlions is to show your ignorance towards college basketball. Stick to college football, you can still probably fool some people.

I will be shocked if Pitt wins more than 2 games in the NCAA tournament. You know the first game is a given since they will be a #1 seed. No #16 seed has ever beaten a #1 seed. After that, they will get a decent team, but usually a #8 or #9 doesn't upset a #1. There's going to be a few #8 or #9 seeds that could give Pitt a run for their money, but I think they are good enough to win a second game. They may even win a third game, if they get in the right bracket. They have a few very talented players, but I don't think they can beat a quality team that likes to run and gun.

So, Moldo, was the Iowa defeat of PSU in football acceptable now? I mean, since the Big Ten is so tough within itself liek the Big east is in basketball. Anyone can beat anyone, right?

'Tis not ignorance towards college basketball, 'tis ignorance towards Pitt fans.
I guarantee I know as much about college basketball as you. Sorry, Im not a professional like yourself when it comes to Pitt basketball. I have not the time for Pitt basketball. Just the time to rag on Pitt fans as Moldo exclaims. Just as you have the time to rag on PSU fans when you get the chance.

Moldo, so you're telling me Pitt has made it to 7 title games and only won 2? That seems like a failure to me. 5 losses vs. 2 wins. No matter what game it is, that's not good.
You rag on Ohio State for finishing 2nd 2 years in a row IN A NATIONAL TITLE GAME, but it's acceptable for Pitt to finish 2nd 5 out of 8 years in the conference title game? My, my, my how we twist things.
