Pitt has huge recruiting weekend

On Wednesday, Pitt landed commit 6 when McDevitt WR Salath Williams verballed. Scout has him listed as a 4-star, 74th ranked WR in the nation. Williams is 6'4" 185, great size for a WR. Of the 10 commits for Pitt so far, I have checked out about 6 of them, and there are 3 I feel really good about. Williams is one of them. He has offers from: Iowa, Maryland, Purdue, Mich State, Rutgers, and Syracuse.
So far this weekend, Pitt landed FIVE more commitments during a big recruiting weekend.
The first was K'wuan Williams, unrated CB from NJ. Scout doesn't have anything listed for him other than his offers list: Rutgers and Pitt.
Yesterday was a huge day, with 4 commits jumping on board.
3-star WR Kevin Weatherspoon from Clairton, home of The Deerhunter, was the first, even though that Meryl Streep is such a phony baloney. Weatherspoon was a big force in the midget league. 5'10" 163 and runs a 4.6. His only other offer was Syracuse. I am not feeling this offer at all. I have no idea why every Wannstedt class has an obligatory midget.
They also picked up 3-star RB TJ Peeler from Virginia, listed as 6'0" 175. His only other offer was WVU. Scout says: "Peeler rushed for over 1,145 yards and 18 touchdowns on the season, despite missing several games with an ankle injury."
They also snagged 2 kids from Don Bosco in NJ, who is probably a top 20 HS program in the nation. The first is Bryan Murphy, 6'2" 215 OLB, 3-star player. Listed as the #65 OLB in the country. Had other offers from Akron, Louisville, and Maryland. The second Bosco kid is Brandon Sacco, 6'3" 255. He is not been ranked, and is listed as DE/OG; other offers include Akron, Miami Ohio, Virginia, and Rutgers. Saw this about the Bosco kids: "Brandon Sacco and Bryan Murphy are both projects. Neither have an obvious position. Sacco is going to have to put on significant weight to play OL. Murphy, at his current size, projects as a DL or LB and is too slow for either. Maybe, he moves to DT."
