Poti's gone. And I'm sure the frosh will be too. What more do you want? Afterall, PSU was named the number 1 party school in the nation in the past week. They don't have cupcake parties there.

What's Pitt's campus life like?

Ham - I didn't question if they were kicked off or not....just stated that the list continues to grow!

You should leave your high school pals and head to Oakland sometime, you may find it to be quite a good time!

Poti is off the team. Question though... Since he was in trouble for drinking, why was the "pot" capitalized in his name?

As for Carson, sorry buddy. Glenn Carson injured his back before summer workouts and is greyshirting. What that means is that he's back at home in NJ and was never on campus this summer.

Almost, shocker. Keep digging.

Been there twice, in the heart of basketball season. Nothing like what it is at PSU, even for a game against Eastern Illinois.

TAE-trouble is trouble regardless of where it happened or what he did. Keep staying in denial!

You're right. Pittsburgh sucks as a city to live in. Penn State is much better in the fall and spring.

As far as Carson is concerned, can you only get trouble while you're on campus?? I seem to remember a certain Rashard Casey beating up a policeman one summer near his hometown. OOPS. Wait a minute. Paterno sloughed it off and Casey wasn't punished by the team that upcoming year. So maybe at PSU, you only have to be on campus when a player gets in trouble. Is that why alot of football players live off campus??

Uhhh, wrong again McMahon:

Thursday, July 30, 2009
By Ron Musselman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Linebacker Dakota Royer today became the 15th recruit to verbally commit to Penn State's class of 2010.

Royer, a 6-foot-3, 210-pounder from Manheim Central, made the announcement during a noon news conference at his high school in Manheim, Pa. He is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com.

He chose the Nittany Lions over Pitt and Notre Dame. Royer earned first-team Class AAA all-state honors as a junior defensive end, registering 81 tackles and 11 sacks. As a wide receiver, he caught 56 passes for 1,099 yards and five touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Glenn Carson, an incoming linebacker recruit, has been charged with public drunkenness and underage drinking as a result of a July 25 incident in State College. He was rated the country's 14th-best inside linebacker by ESPN's Scouts Inc. in the class of 2009.

Penn State opens preseason practice Aug. 10......Team AA & NA mtgs. begin that evening followed by Archery Lessons, Juvenile Prank Calling Tactics (especially effective on older coaches & their families), Intimidation of Fellow Students posing absolutely no threat, attacking teammates @ dining hall w/ foreign objects, directions to community service sites, etc...you know the same old stuff !

Our resident guru also likes to claim that UPS is such a better academic school than Pitt?? Some more facts for ya:

From US News & World Report's 2009 Rankings, Incoming freshman:

Penn State:
SAT - 1195
Top 10% - 45%

Pitt:
SAT - 1245
Top 10% - 48%

Vman returns to upset the Nitwits w/ Facts.....here i was just a few days ago @ sunrise.......
