I am in no way shape or form a McCort fan nor do I agree with how they can ATTRACT athletes to their program. But, the fact remains this is a football program right now that is heads above anyone else in this area. Do they have a shot this year of getting to Hershey? Who is the team to beat in Dist 3 A this year? Isn't that who McCort would face if they win Dist 6? Dist 3 A winner? No slighting Bellwood or Portage but I just don't see those schools beating McCort. It is not fair but again Salem and his staff are just blessed with alot of talent and boy do they win games. Who is the top tier teams in single A this year? West and East?

McCorts team IS NOT better then they were last year. I predict the same fate awaits them this year as last year. This year will probably alot uglier then last year also.

They have the same line as last season only with a year of experience and lifting added to them
Their backfield went from Lowry Wadley and McAneny to Seidel Merriman and James...not exactly a big downgrade in my opinion

Their Defense is big and strong still the Achilles tendon of McCort for the past however many years is the pass defense but in A there are less passing teams.

Its hard for me to say because both teams are really good. But no Jeremiah Young standing in D3. I think this team can take it pretty far.

I think McCort's QB and receiving play will hurt them down the road. They have only attempted 22 passes in 3 games. Now I know that they haven't had to, but what will happen when they need to do so?

They have all the indicators or elements of a team that could make the state championship. Experience head coach with an experience coaching staff who has been together a few years. The kids have experience many district and state playoff games so they are prepared mentally for that. As far as september football is concerned they are right where they are supposed to be. The main obstacle is getting better every week when they opponents are not giving much of a game. Can the kids get up every week and play with 100% effort that will be needed down the stretch. Can they avoid the injury bug. This team could end up being similar to BC 03'.

They haven't had to pass much, but Domonkos is a big deep threat. Pinkerton has played very well in 3 games and squashed any thoughts of sophomore Jesse Cooper playing this year. They don't have the same attack as 2 years ago with DeFrances but they do have some sets that can allow them to throw the ball. Interesting to see when that occasion rises how he will handle making the throws.
But man that running game is something else. Seidel has been unstoppable and Merriman has been been a solid with his north and south running style. They also have the "Wildcat" with Domonkos. This offense can really play.

According to an live chat with Rod Frisco on PennLive back on the 9th, Steel High is still the team to beat in D3 A. Like Crimson said, no Young, DL Jordan Hill, or QB Andre Campbell. What they have now, I don't know. They lost 27-14 to what appears to be a good Susquehanna Township team in week 1, then came back and barely beat now 0-3 Milton Hershey in week 2, 19-18. They were off in week 3 for some reason.

Typical Forest Hills Hater. You have absolutely no clue what u r talking about they have so many lineman & experienced players returning they may well be better than last year. Will ur Rangers make it past 2nd round this year or will it be a lot uglier than last year hahahah

Hey, I just gave my opinion about McCort's passing game and it's future. Why did you bring up FH?
