Yeah, but their frosh team was unbeaten last year, so that's all that matters!

They are because they are undefeated; oh wait so is everyone else.
Please stop bringing up Jr. High basketball records and success, it's great but Varsity Basketball is totally different. Strength, Talent, and Coaching step up a whole other level. Scouting teams becomes a big part of game planning, and sorry to say not too many Jr. High coaches scout their Jr. High opponents. It just doesn't add up, and if you think they do than I hope your not coaching my childs team.

Believe it or not, I know of several (well maybe not several but at least 4-5) junior high coaches that scout games. One coached my son and I know he traded tapes with a few other coaches. His rationale was that he was trying to prepare his players the best he could for what they will be seeing/doing on the varsity level. He put in a ton of hours with the kids with open gyms etc... so I didn't see a problem with it. Plus, I thought he did a really thorough job as the coach and my son came off the bench for him.

No. This team couldnt play with '07 Westy '08 McCort and Central Cambria or the Johnstown teams that went to states. No discussion. They simply arent anywhere near the caliber of those teams

O7 westy and the johnstown states teams are on TOTALLY different levels than mccort or central cambria 08 IMO, especially mccort.

we were pretty good in '08 all bias aside. Cruz Varga Boyd Schrey Freeman. They could play
But i wasnt there to compare those teams, I was there to point out they are much better then Johnstown of this year. McCort from 05 and 06 were both really good teams too. They might have actually been better then all the prior teams i mentioned

true, but i am just saying that Westy team was on a whole different level, dominated the LHAC like nothing i have ever seen, and that johnstown team went to the state finals, IMO different level than just winning d6, but thats neither here nor there

good point. But they lost at the same level as the 3 McCort teams and Central Cambria..

maybe i would give the nod to the mccort team when O connor was there, he was a beast
