True freshman DT Jordan Hill is now 2nd of the depth chart at DT. So much for small-school kids being inferior.
Hill was labeled by some last year as the best overall prospect in the state of PA, but many schools stayed away b/c he played Class A ball.

the number 1 recruit in the country 2 years ago was from a small AA school.
I think that one answered the small school player debate.
Saw Hill play against McCort last year. He is a very very good player. He's going to do big things at PSU i dont doubt that one bit. Remembered last year Hill said McCort had the best line he ever played against. That probably held true until they played Iowa this year.

debated number one recruit, there still were some scouting services that did not have TP number one if i remember correctly
dont get me wrong, being from a big school certainly helps a lot though, although this defeats the purpose of high schoolers who want to be college footballers transferring to mccort. Playing the likes of portage in the playoffs does not help the cause too much.
Nonetheless I hold the opionion if your big enough/fast enough and can play a little bit or the combination of the two you will be found
