UFL football league... on Versus right now..

Capizzi is a starter for Vegas.. He played at IUP.
Losman is the QB for Vegas.
There are some former NFL guys playing and the football doesn't look. I think this is worth watching midweek...but there are a ton of other things on too. College football, MLB playoffs, NHL...Those things hurt the viewers the league could get. It is not terrible football though. It comes off better than the XFL did and is more like the football we all love than Arena is. If they keep their expectations low, this could be ok. They need to fill up their own stadiums a little bit more before pushing it on television. The crowd sort of looks like a Pitt crowd.

Why are these teams enamored with the teal based colors. It's like watching crayons play football.

Did they finally get cable/satellite service is the 'burg. Loysburg that is. Or did coach make the trek to Altoona to watch the game?

Well, it's hard for anything that is on Versus to become too big when one of the biggest satellite providers are no longer allowed to carry their station.

Only 1 Nitwit on a UFL roster: Bhawoe Jue plays for the Florida team. Was hoping to see legends like Rodney Kinlaw, Kevin Thompson, and Freddie Scott.

I DVR'd the game from HDNet the other week, but have yet to watch it. I was excited when I got DirecTV hoping to watch the games, but then I found out about the Vs. issue. No big loss though, not much on that channel I really want to watch anyways.

HOCKEY!! DISH NETWORK. I miss baseball, but I see the Buccos anyway. I would never buy Sunday Ticket. It is like 350 bucks or something and the team I like is on television every week anyway. I can't see paying 25ish bucks for EVERY game. If you miss a game or two and another game or two is on ESPN or NBC nationally...then you are really getting hosed!

My Sunday Ticket is "free." I hate hockey generally, but if I want to watch a Penguins or Avs game I can flip on the regional FSN. Dish was generally the same price as DirecTV for what I wanted, but having the ability to get Sunday Ticket this year and pay for it only for 5 months was the deciding factor. Next year whether I get it or not is another story. I probably will, because I hate the Steelers with a passion and want to watch something other than their game, the Eagles and a national game. It was nice to watch the close finishes of the Bengals/Ravens, Bills/Browns, Pats/Broncos, Cowboys/Chiefs, Cards/Texans as they happened this past week.
