Would you be okay with this or not? I'll give my thoughts later.

"I just wanted to feel like a winner."
I think he is trying to get fired, but I'm not sure. He is acting like an idiot right now. I think it's because he sees that the Titans are going to be bad for awhile. Kerry Collins is done. Vince Young isn't the answer in the offense that Jeff Fisher runs. He would be perfect in a wildcat offense with Chris Johnson, but that's not Fisher's style. Their receivers are better this year, but they have no true #1 guy. Those are just the problems on offense. Let's not even get started on the defense.

I agree here. I was on the fence about him possibly being fired, but this got me on the bandwagon. It says it was for a charity for Tony Dungy, but seriously, that's not a good excuse. Do you see Mike Tomlin wearing a Joe Flacco jersey? Do you see Rex Ryan wearing a Tom Brady jersey? It's pathetic that he put that on, even if it was just a joke.

As a Titans fan, I want that entire immediate coaching staff out. Fisher needs to go. Heimendinger is really messing up that offense and needs to go also. You don't go to a pass first offense with Kerry Collins at the helm, I don't care that the receiver corps improved. Chuck Cecil is downright awful. He let Nick Harper cover the opposing team's #1 receiver until he got hurt, and he won't dial up any blitzing schemes.

It's sad to see how far the Titans have fallen - as a fan - since last season.

Perhaps it was just tounge-in-cheek? Nevertheless it doesn't look good.... Several weeks ago after the Steelers lost two in a row I wondered whether it was a good use of time for Big Ben to host Monday Night Raw....

Retro, I dont think Fisher wants to be in Nashville anymore than Nashville wants HIM there. He's a great coach. Tennessee has a lot of problems, though. Age caught up with that defense, and it caught up with Collins. Vince Young needs to go, they went essentially a decade with no real effort put into bolstering their receivers... what do you expect? Franchises only have a certain window and when that window closes, its a total rebuild. They are going to need to rebuild this entire team.

I agree with you on the whole rebuilding part. It's just stunning how a 13-3 team can fall so far without losing anyone besides Haynesworth - who only played 55% of the snaps anyways. I think losing Jim Schwartz hurt this team tons. I honestly wished that we would have kept him and promoted him to head coach.

A lot of players are on the block for free agency after this. I would hate to see Keith Bulluck go, cause he's been the defensive leader for so many years and really seems like the only player on that defense that gives a dang about the game anymore, but...I wouldn't want to see him suffer through these next few years. I want him to be able to get a ring somewhere.

My thoughts about rebuilding the team would be to go secondary with our first round pick (preferrably an Eric Berry, plus he's the hometown boy) and then in the second round find a quarterback for the future possibly. Secondary is a bigger problem - in my eyes - than quarterback, cause I mean we had the best record in football with a pedestrian passing attack. Honestly, I would love to see them take Dan LeFevour somehow in the second or third cause I think he's going to be a very good quarterback, but chance are that the owner Bud Adams will want Colt McCoy seeing that he's a Texas guy. The offensive line is getting older but they are still good, and the defensive line isn't too bad. I think Ringer can share some carries with Chris Johnson now that LenDale White will be gone after this season, and Kenny Britt looks like he'll be our number one guy for some years to come. But the Titans are in for a major makeover, that's for sure.
