hes deff not as good as everybody thinks. he can throw harder than a lot ppl but hes not a pitcher and he can hit and hes good at SS but everytime he makes an error he gets hurt or there is dirt in his eye theres an excuse for everything hes just about a ****. hes on the 18u ERA team and i saw him play one of the 16u teams at UPJ and he came in to pitch and he thinks he throws so hard no one can hit it well some of the 16s were hitting him and then he walked about 4 runs in and as soon as that happened he walked off the mound claiming his arm hurt but it didnt hurt it was classic AU as soon as something goes wrong hes hurt so theres a reason or excuse he did that bad. But he has this attiude that noone is as good as him and theres no one better if he was as good as his ego he would be the number 1 pick in the draft this coming year.

Its funny how some folks make a big deal over a tantrum at a fall inter-squad travel game. Well, he will be getting a scholarship to Penn State, so I am sure there are a ton of jealous kids out there. The most important thing is that he has a lot of talent and he works extremely hard. Why not root for the kid rather than trying to take him down a peg. Why didn't anyone post on here when he went 4-4 and touched 90 with his fastball in the PA Top 25 game a few weeks ago ????

Urban obviously has a loose arm and a bright future as he matures emotionally and gets more experience against big-time sticks. I assume he's a Delweld signee and hopefully they'll bring him along slowly (as they did so well with Carbaugh). I hope that Penn State interest is real because I think that program has missed the boat on a lot of local talent.
In regard to why people are always trying to "knock kids down a peg." First, anonymity brings out the absolute worst in most people. Seventy five percent of the posts on this site would never be made if the person had to attach their real name to them. Second, people react negatively whenever they think anyone is trying to draw attention to themselves. Whether that was the case here or just perceived to be the case, I don't know.

Austin is an outstanding ball player. He might be a loose cannon at times but he get that out of system i am sure of that. If he continues to work hard and take all the instructions he is getting for Rick and Mike at era he will be prepared for baseball after highschool.
