Jamarcus Russell is the biggest bust in NFL history.

Seriously.
Now, think about this. Is there another 1st-pick that has performed this badly? I know sometimes guys get in there and they don't really play too well and they end up getting traded or whatever, but Jamarcus Russell literally looks like he has never played in his life. He has got to be the biggest bust ever when you consider just how bad he really is. He is 2-32 in passes over 20 yards.
Seton Lasalle all-star Bruce Gradkowski will get the start this week.

To be fair, Carter was an okay back after he blew out his ACL. Not his fault that he became a bust because of an injury.
I agree though TAE. I believe you called this in the NFL Draft thread a few years ago.

None of those players you listed looked anywhere close to being as out of place as Russell looks.

Of course the biggest bust in sports was Morganna, the kissing bandit. She would run onto major league baseball fields and kiss players during the game. Definitely the biggest bust.

I agree with what you're saying TAE, but so much of that has to deal with what team and system you QB in. Tom Brady would absolutely SUCK if he had to QB in Pittsburgh because he is terrible with pressure in his face (the undefeated superbowl choke proved that one). Look at Jay Cutler, he was dang good in Denver and he is now struggling in CHItown and Kyle Orton didn't exactly tear it up there either.
What I'm trying to say is that he may just be in a horrible system. The only reason anyone would want to go to Oakland is the money. Al Davis is an absolute joke and I am so thankful that the steelers have an owner with a head on his shoulders instead of a large male genitalia (a.k.a. Dan Snyder and Al Davis who think they're gods and do no wrong and fire everyone except themselves!). Now Russell may not have the work ethic or the attitude to do what it takes; I have no idea on that, but he's definitely not in an ideal situation either.

You could put Russell in any offense and he would ruin it.

Wow. Those are bold words. He's not near as good under pressure, but SUCK if he had to play in Pittsburgh. C'mon man. You have to be kidding me. If Tom Brady had the Steelers defense on the other side of the ball, he would have won a championship the other year and more than likely again this season.

You could also put Robert Gallery their RG on that list. He has not lived up to the hype.
