the shade panthers lost to the bv vikings tonight 52-44. so much for takin the westpac this year.

Wow!
It is early in the season and Blacklick is a tough place to play with a great student section BUT aren't they the same team that only beat Meyersdale by 2 points on friday night at the Bill Lamp Memorial Tournament? Nice win for Blacklick, BAD loss for Shade.

I was always told a win is a win no matter if it by one or by 10. Sometimes you play to the level of your competition. This is a big win for BV. Shade returned Gibbons and Smith from last years team. I heard Blacklick held them both to under 10.

Any team that loses 3 1,000 point scorers is gonna have a tough time winning games

True, but look who else has a chance to score a ton this year ... Smith, Gibbons, Fyock... Lost three yes, but look who they have on the bench to sub in this year! Oravec, both medva brothers, edwards, and not brett harts comin back soon so we'll see what happens 8)
