Unbeaten Bedford knocks off North Star

BOSWELL — Bedford extended its unbeaten record to 5-0 with a 45-22 victory over District 5 rival North Star Tuesday night in varsity wrestling.
The Bisons held a 20-15 lead midway through the match and cemented the victory by winning the next five weight classes, including four with falls.
Eli Shaffer (152) and Nick Roberts (103) both recorded pins for the Cougars. Tayte Mostoller (112) had a major decision while Joe Lascari (130) and Richard Baker (140) each won by decision.
North Star (6-2) will travel cross state to Lansford, Carbon County, to compete in the Panther Valley Duals on Saturday.

How is Joe Lascari doing this year now that he is back in the area??? Will he try to make it back down to 125?
