Looking forward to the Ridge-Northstar game. These two teams better enjoy their last year making it to a title game, before being joined by the "BIG DOGS" next year.

North Star will make it to the title game again next year. They have there best three players back. With that said who all is moving to AA next year?

Tussey Mountain, Northern Bedford and Conemaugh Twp. move up to make 8 "AA" schools in both boys and girls. These schools enrollments did not increase, the cutoff went down a lot more than I've ever seen it before, I suspect because of all the little private, charter, and cyber schools that are popping up everywhere and starting basketball programs. The same will be happening in all districts, some of the traditional "A" schools who are usually within 15-20 of the cutoff may find themselves "AA" across the state.

Head Roadie, not sure you understand that NS has the 3 best players in the area returning next year. Two are just freshmen. You'll get all the looks you need tomorrow night.

Carom: huh? I merely mentioned who the new teams in the "AA" division would be, did not comment on North Star, do not know how many they return, and Will not see them play tomorrow night.
For what it's worth, I've heard they have a talented and young team so it sounds like they may be the early favorite to win it in 2011.

North Star & Tussey should be the favorites next year and Township, Windber & Ridge will be better then this year. NBC will be young but have some good young players like Ridge coming up thru the ranks - I am glad to see others coming into District V "AA" to make it a larger division then currently.

Are these same schools moving up in baseball too?
