GREAT Expansion Article from SI

This is by far the best article I have seen yet on B10 expansion. Only thing I disagree with is his ascertain that Pitt has no value. I understand the rationale, just don't agree with it. I would much rather have Pitt than UCONN, who's stadium is 29 miles from their campus. Actually, you know what, I'd be fine with the B10 taking Pitt, Syracuse, Rutgers, UCONN, and Missouri.

Think about this. Pitt, Syracuse, and UCONN all have strong basketball programs, and the HC's at Syr and Pitt have made it known they do not want to leave the BE. But if all three go... whats the issue, here? You have such a tight relationship w/ DePaul and Marquette that you dont want to lose them?

There is NO COMPARISON between the benefits of the BE vs those of the B10.

Even though the author has a good feeling about Nebraska, I don't. But Nebraska could be forced to join the B10 if the B12 seems like it's going to blow up, which I am forseeing sooner rather than later. They want to play very competitive football and football drives that school, so we shall see. I feel like Neb is a pipedream, but if it comes true I would be thrilled.

Read this over, tons of great points and good info (aka he proves me 100% right)

This is a pipedream but I love the model in this article for college football revamping.
