Pitt's army of Backs grows again

Pitt adds Jeremiah Bryson. 3 Star running Back from Tennessee. Has Pitt ever had a player from Tennessee?
Anywho, He is 5-8 173 with 4.4 speed. Had offers from Illinois,MAryland,UNC, and some others.... Never bad to have a quick little back, but......

We have Poteat. In the mix for 2 Top 10 Backs this year. The potetial #1 recruit in the Nation for next season is in the WPIAL, and he's a Running Back.

My only thought is...This kid is undersized. The way Lewis is playing, both Him and Graham are going to platoon for at least next year. They have Poteat, possibly Huggins, and Shell is looking like an Ohio State lock, but you never know. I'm saying that Bryson will be a Corner.
TAE, your input?

We gotta be nearing the end, They are listing Andre Givens a 3 star RB who failed to qualify last year, as a 4 Star Defensive Back Prep Recruit. So thats one less scholarship I thought we had.

Douglas and Coleman, following their arrests probably won't be back. That might open up two spots?

I don't see Huggins coming aboard, but we made the Final 6. I'd like to see them add 2 Linemen

You're putting a 5-8 kid at Corner? That's issue #1. Issue #2 is that this is Pitt's FOURTH corner if he moves to the secodnary, in this class.

Issue #3: If a kid is listed at 5-8, that means he's 5-7.

Exactly what Pitt needs, more small kids who are fast. I dont know who to shake my head at more: The idiotic recruiting strategies Wanny holds, or the fans who are okay with this crap. When are you going to realize you need linemen and the O-Line is the issue? How many more schollies is this bozo going to waste? '

There are reasons why Pitt sucks. It's not an anomaly.

I'm screaming for linemen too.

If he wanted to run a spread-out offense and utilize all the smaller kids, thats fine. But Wanny wants, and has always wanted, a strong running game. How exactly is he planning on accomplishing this?

beats me. unacceptable to have a walk on center at this level and his only backup is a converted Defensive End.

Nix and Pinkston are as good as any Tackles in the country. Jacobsen has been dissapointing, though.

We need to bring in more interior linemen. I'm very frustrated.

Pitt is getting solid recruits, but TAE is correct, as I have said (even though he's stating the obvious): Pitt does not strategically recruit, and prefers to take the "best available athletes." This results in depth and talent and some positions, and the opposite at others. Their 2011 recruiting class has exactly ONE OL. I hope that Pitt gets after it when a scholly or two open up, hopefully when the two latest clowns are booted from the team.

Pitt's DL is deep and talented, but their OL has just two legitimate players in Pinkston and Nix, both who will play in the NFL, and play for a long time, barring injury. The rest of their line is mid-major level talent, or worse.

Should do just fine in the Big East then.
