You must be a youngster their Cerberus, Everett had numerous sellout crowds from about 1988 through 1997 on/off when they had some outstanding teams. I can remember lines forming in front of the doors at Everett HS before school left out for Bedford and Tussey Mt. clashes in the '88-'90 seasons....they would lock the doors before the JV game began. In a playoff game at Bedford in '88 vs Tussey, the team busses for both squads arrived and the doors had already been locked! Both teams got standing ovations going to the locker rooms to get dressed :45 before the game. It was, as I'm sure some of the more veteran posters will tell you, a great time for county basketball...not just Everett and Tussey, but other teams had their successes from mid 80's thru mid 90's too....even Hyndman had a great team in mid-80's

Head Roadie, That was a classic time for Bedford County Basketball. I remember getting to Everett once at 5:00 for a 6:30 JV tip off to find the line had already come down the steps, along the front of the school and around the corner of the building. Once I got into the gym the only seats available were in the Everett student section. Needless to say I refused to sit there and stood in the doorway for the night. TM ended up winning that night giving Everett their only loss of the year, so for me it was worth ever minute of it.
I also remember getting to the playoff game at Bedford and the doors were already locked. The person I was with (won't mention his name) decided we would go pound on the back door and see what happened. As we were walking up to the door we met up with the nights officials. When the AD opened the door for them he told us to come on in also. I think Everett knocked off TM that night to win the D5 Champoinship.
Great times for BCL hoops.

I remember a few years ago, about 5 or 6, the Tussey and NBC games were pretty heated. My sister would take me to them and we would leave a like 5:00 just to stand in line. The fans were very loud on both sides and it would get pretty intense. A few times there were fights after the games as I recall.
