JHS-BM

Someone had to start it so why not me.
I've read a on another thread the back and forth between jhsstandout and crimsoncrazy.
First everyone should know by now Im a JHS fan and where my loyalties are. That being said I think both jhsstandout and crimson are wrong in some of their analysis. Let me explain.
JHS has zero recent success against BM. I will not pick a team to win until they can prove they do it. That being said if JHS does not win this year they will never beat BM. For jhsstandout to be so confident is perplexing because of our lack of success. Let's just say I'm cautiously optomistic.
As for crimson saying simon doesnt throw deep is just flat out wrong. I have not seen a JHS quarterback throw deep passes this much since 1991 Brian Mangiafico. He is not just throwing deep ones he is completing them consistantly.
As for the rumor about not playing Forest Hills I dont know where that started. If you look at the AAA standings JHS may need to win that game to make the playoffs. As they sit right now:
JHS 530
Indian Valley 500
Bellefonte 400
Indian Valley and Bellefonte play each other this week so one of them is getting huge points. Also Bellefonte still plays AAAA Central Mountain and AAA Clearfield. It is possible JHS could have the best record and still not make the 2 team playoffs because IV and Bell. both have schools on the schedule that they can generate more points.
For instance if JHS were to lose to Mccort and bellefonte were to beat IV the points would be something like this:
Bellefonte 550-570
JHS 550
IV 500-530
Even if they beat mccort it could be:
JHS 650
Bel 550-570
IV 500-530
With both IV and Bellefonte having big point games left on their schedule.
Anyways a lot can happen and I just don't see either FH or JHS opting not to play that 10th game. If nothing else you would look like a chickensh*t if you didnt opt to play.
As for my final prediction on this weeks game. I will continue to pick Mccort until JHS can prove they can beat this team even though they should win going away.
