Is there any tourneys going on this weekend?

I see that PC won their tournament. How many FH wrestlers participated? Were some of the football players still not ready?

FH was missing a 103, 125, 215, and 285 (pounder) this weekend at the Penn Cambria Tournament. Among the missing were Doltyn Snedden, Zack Pinkas, Chris Gallaher, Jeff Meier, and Zack Brydon. FH finished 7th out of 16 teams. They also had a contestant in the Junior Varsity Tournament.

PC won their own tourney. Might be a >BIG< difference tonight in Sidman with those wrestlers eligible. Except for maybe Meier.

Surely Pinkas and Snedden are somewhere between 125 and 215, aren't they?

Yes, they are both between those weights. They are both wrestling now. Zack is a starter and Snedden is a backup for now.

Don't quite understand RidgeDad's question. If Pinkas is a starter, and wasn't at the PC Tourney, then a second-stringer obviously wrestled in his place. SO, FH STILL had 5 starters missing from their lineup, anyway you look at it. That is 103, 125, 215, 275, and the second-stringer wrestling in Pinkas' place somewhere between 125 and 215. So what's your point?

Yeah, I was confused, also. I don't know how else to explain it, but Forest Hills is almost full strength on the mats, as they now have their football players and are working hard to get settled into their "comfortable" weights and tryin' to stay healthy. This team should be very competitive as the year goes on.
