Do the Bisons stand a chance tonight or not. Jtown is supposed to be pretty tough with some big guns. There is talk of some dunks being thrown down tonight.

If bedford has any chance it is very little, yes troy harris has skills but what he does not have is 4 other players that can definately beat you such as johnstown has

Johnstown was much more athletic than the Bisons tonight but Bedford's effort was very game. Harris had a great performance with 5 or 6 treys. Tullis did throw one down in the 2nd Qtr for J-town...a culmination of three consecutive fastbreak layups for the J-town star that put the Trojans up a couple and had Bedford chasing from behind the rest of the night.
Bedford's best lineup was Fox, Waltman, Harris's, and Marshall....they matched up w/J-town's athleticism best with that set and Coach Waltman figured that out pretty quick. 58-50 loss was a good effort, I would love to see the Bisons catch enough fire to make the 5-AA playoffs (.500 record is necessary) because if they get some momentum going they could be tough to beat.

I've seen Bedford in all but about three games this season and really think that this was their best performance to date. Harris had an outstanding night but the rest of the team also put together a nice effort. As for the Bisons making the playoffs, I believe it is entirely possible. They need to win 7 games which may seem kinda hard to do but they a couple of games that set up quite favorably for them(CR, Tussey, Somerset and Forest Hills). They will need to upset a few very quality teams but it can be done.

Bisons did a pretty decent job of containing the running game of the Trojans. Troy had another excellent game, Marshall and Derrick penetrated really well at times. They need to do that more. Become playmakers. Derrick seems to get to frustrated some times.
As for lineup, I like the Stiffler boys in there, they did a nice job.
maybe Harris , Harris, Fox, Marshall and then either of the Stifflers or Waltman.

The bisons had a good and well executed game plan coming into the contest. They controled the tempo and the ball much of the 1st have. J-town was up 3 at halftime. Then J-towns attempts to push the tempo of the game up was successful because bedford never takes time outs or subs to stifle opponents momentum. Bedford either needs to be better conditioned to last playing all 4 quarters, or substitute once and awhile to get fresh legs in there and let the others players get a break.

Why don't the Stifflers and Big Earn Sotirokis see more time. They were always very solid players.
