Penn State looks good but they are playing bums. I still like McGloin better than Bolden.

Utah State looks like they might pull a big upset and win on the road at Auburn.

Bama looks very good once again.

Auburn will be lucky to have a winning record this year with everything they lost. And Bolden has to start next week if they want to have any kind of a chance.

Nice seeing McGregor with the touchdown run. Making the area proud!

Nothing has changed at Penn State. Paterno plays both qbs. Neither got in to a rhythm. The play calling was horrid as usual. Reverses on 4th and 3, incomplete pass on 1st down means a run on second down, run the ball on 3rd and 7. There offense has no gameplan it's just a grabbag of plays from Dumb and Dumber (JAypa and Galen) Joepa was probably sleeping by halftime. I will be surprised if they keep it close this week. The Defense looked good, but they played indiana state, so they should. Silas Redd looks like he will be a good one.

As for Pitt, the high octane had a ton of trouble with Buffalo the worst team in the MAC last year. 2 dropped touchdowns and a failed 4th down inside the redzone kept Pitt fans from jumping off the Clemente bridge tonight. After the propaganda machine Todd Grahams talks this year I expected Pitt to win every game 84-0

Propaganda eh? Maybe this is what Graham was trying to accomplish.

working out the kinks. No need to panic. 28 points in the second half. Not bad, not bad at all. But I'm not a huge Graham guy, I'm a wait and see with him. Only took 1 quarter for his first Boo to happen at Heinz Field.

I still think Pitt will regret not getting Bradley.

I don't. He's not a qualified Head Coach. Pitt and UConn turned him away and Penn State will never hire him. He's never going to be a head coach, I've heard from many a Penn State fan they think it was good not to hire him.

I was criticized under the high school section of this website for saying that Richland using 3 QB's in their offense might hurt them along the way. PSU is doing the same thing. Sure, it's nice to have a good back-up ready to play at a moments notice, BUT at the same time you are sacrificing the quality of play for your starter. You are cutting down the amount of time you practice with the first team. You are cutting down the amount of game experience your QB needs early in the season. Sharing does not achieve this. PSU would have been better off playing ONE QB yesterday, and the back-up later in the game. What did they accomplish in getting ready for Alabama?

Not much unless they already stocked up on ibuprofen and cold packs.
