If this is it for Don, who is next head coach at FH?

Have heard from several people that this is the final year for Don. I have not seen this in the Tribune yet, but maybe he does not want it to be a distraction. If he were to step down, will Carpenter take over? Or is the job headed to his former quarterback Justing Meyers, who actually has head coach experience?

Isn't this kinda like rumors of JoePa retiring? You've heard whispers of it for a few years now, but until the words come out of Don's mouth, I'm not buying it.

I've heard he wants Sponsky to be the next HC at FH.

I know that Bailey played for the elder Sponsky at Forest Hills, but did he replace him as head coach?

I have heard that most people want the job to go to someone inside the district that has plenty of experience coaching with Don. This only makes sence because only locals know how Baily ran things and obviously it works. Folks in sidman may not want change for the job to go to Sponsky. My guess is Marabito or Justin Myers. Two guys I hear that Baily trusted most. For all we know none of them want the job. Head coaching is not for everyone!

I personally am pulling for Myers just because of how he was dismissed at Heights. I still think the Highlanders will regret letting him go for a "Heights guy." And as soon as he was let go you knew he'd go back to the Rangers, and I kinda thought right then and there he'd be the heiraparent to Don.

Do you think Brandon would be at all interested in taking over in the shadows of his father ??? Or would he not just for the same exact reason as I stated ???
