First off congrats to Penns Manor on pulling off the huge upset. And take it from someone who has played there twice playing at Hershey is awesome, even when its not for that state championship, good luck Saturday afternoon! I hope the Comets keep the upsets coming and make D6 look good.

What's the scouting report on Columbia? Do the Comets have a chance?

First glance at Columbia, I think Penns Manor definitely has a chance. In fact, I may pick PM as the favorite.

Columbia is 7-5. Which includes some big blowout losses.

They practically played up their entire schedule. The only Class A schools they played was in the playoffs.

Shamokin had a losing record going into their game against Clearfield. Big deal. Shamokin won, proving that strength of schedule has everything to do with post-regular seasonal play. I'm pulling for Mr. do-it-all Danny Ferens & Co. to move on, though. Congrats, Comets.

Max Preps has Penns manor ranked ahead of them in state rankings by a good bit. I think this Comet team will Play themselves into semi-finals. Lets not forget they now get one of their Starting Linebackers back from suspension next week so that good defense that shut down every team in the playoffs so far will just get better.
